I always make lists. Of everything. To do lists, grocery lists, wish lists…
I make wish lists for everyday, for my birthday or for Christmas.
But this birthday will be my 25th and I kind of have nothing to wish for.
I don’t need another scarf, cd or book.
So for my 25th birthday, I made a list of 25 things that I have wanted for myself for a long time now.
Just the little big things that are going to make me happy.
The 25 little big wishes for the next 25 years.
And I would like to share that list with you.
*learn to fix a tire
*red vintage boots
*finish my bachelor’s degree
*graduate
*find a job which allows me to use my talents
*first find and develop that talent…
*pick up latin dancing where I left it 8 years ago…
*find a guy to dance with
*paint more
*control the chaos in the head
*finish that book I started reading 5 years ago
*learn to make dough for pelimeni and vareniki
*bruggetje maken
*finish the dam to dam loop
*do a photography workshop
*get one of those cute Dior limited edition make up sets
*learn Italian in Italy
*be a mum
*never forget how to play Scarborough Fair on the piano
*perfect playing happy birthday on the guitar
*learn to dive
*touch a whale
*stop biting my nails
*find out which country I love to live in the most in the world
*have an awesome kitchen with all the appliances I need
Unless I marry rich. Obviously.
